Planners    

                                                                                             Please check and sign planners EVERY night. This is how teachers are able to communicate with parents on a daily basis. Please use this as a way to communicate with your child's teacher as well. It is imperative that the teachers/parents/students work together as a team to ensure student success. Constant communication is VERY important!! Your child MUST bring their planner to school every day. If they lose it or destroy it they will need to bring $5 to purchase another one.

Homework

Your child has in his/her possession a Homework Folder. This is how homework travels from school to home and back. Everything that is incomplete throughout the day will go in this folder to go home. Also, check their planner!! Students will check off what they turned in each day in their planner. It is their responsibility to use the planner as an organizational tool. Organization is a life-skill that they will need for the rest of their lives.

Spelling Homework                                                                                                                Monday:        ABC order & 3 times each

Tuesday:       Word Pyramids

Wednesday:   Write a sentence for each word

Thursday:      Write the definitions for each word

Friday Folders   

Every Friday your child will bring home a Friday Folder. This will
contain a grade sheet with current grades for each subject. Any paper that is below a 70 MUST be redone and returned on Monday. If the paper is redone to MASTERY then the grade will be changed to a 70.  Please sign the grade sheet saying you have seen the grades and return it with your child on Monday.
