I have been in education for 33 years in the Grand Prairie Independent School District!  I taught 23 years in third grade and have been a librarian for the past 10 years.  I have a BS in Education from Southwest Texas State University, a Masters in Education from North Texas State University and received Library Certification from Texas Woman's University.  I am married to Rollin Phipps and we enjoy the study of Egyptology and traveling.
